Lasya Patnaik
Lasya Patnaik, originally from India, began playing tennis at age 12 and quickly rose through the junior ranks, earning a spot among the top 15 nationally in both the U/16 and U/18 divisions. At 16, she continued her tennis journey in the United States, competing in NCAA Division I for South Carolina State University from 2018 to 2022. Playing at the top of the lineup, she helped lead her team to four consecutive MEAC Conference Championships.
Since then, Lasya has brought her passion for the sport to coaching, working with players of all ages and skill levels at programs including Roton Point Association and Future Stars Southampton. She is currently the Head Tennis Professional at Roton Point, where she oversees daily tennis operations, runs junior clinics, and provides private lessons. Her coaching style is energetic, personalized, and focused on creating a positive, encouraging environment for every player.
In addition to her on-court expertise, Lasya holds a Master’s in Nutritional Sciences and a Bachelor’s in Food and Nutrition, allowing her to take a holistic approach to player development by combining athletic training with health and wellness principles.
When she’s not on the court, Lasya enjoys binge-watching her favorite shows and relaxing at home. She’s excited to bring her experience and enthusiasm to Milford Indoor Tennis, where she looks forward to helping players grow and thrive in a fun, supportive setting
