At Milford Indoor Tennis, our entire staff shares

Bryan Adinolfi

A four year member of the University of Connecticut’s tennis team, Bryan captained the squad his senior year. After graduating from UConn, he was assistant coach of the men’s team in 2002. He later went on to Syracuse University to earn a Master’s degree while coaching the women’s tennis team in 2005-2006. More recently Bryan was the assistant coach of the Quinnipiac University men’s team for three years. At MIT Bryan has headed up some of our Junior USTA teams which have gone on to state and sectional competition. This summer Bryan is the Head Pro at The High Lane Club in North Haven. Bryan still enjoys playing the game and in 2006 rose to #7 in New England in the men’s open rankings.

Carrie Bunton

A USPTA certified teaching professional, Carrie has taught, designed and run programs for all playing levels in the tri-state area for the past 16 years. She grew up in southern Connecticut and competed throughout New England as a ranked junior. Carrie attended Cortlandt State University where she studied Physical Education. In addition to teaching tennis, she continues to enjoy competing in USTA league play.

Paul Coorssen

Originally from Port Jefferson, NY, Paul played Division II tennis at the University of Bridgeport where he captained the team for two years in a row. As a senior, he reached the semifinals of the New England NCAA Division II Doubles Tournament. He graduated with a degree in Computer Information Systems and then worked as an Application Developer in Europe. In 2003, he received a Master’s Degree in Education from Sacred Heart University. He earned his USPTA certification at the National Tennis Center. For the past 10 years, he has coached the Jonathan Law High School boy’s tennis team in Milford. In 2009 Paul’s ranking rose to #1 in the Men’s 45 and older doubles in New England. His hobbies include bee-keeping, guitar and piano.

Mitch Cravens

Mitch brings 25 years of teaching and management experience at tennis facilities throughout Fairfield County and Westchester County. This included the position as Head Tennis Professional at Fairfield Beach Club for 11 years in the summer months, Head Tennis Professional at Brooklawn Country Club for the last 7 years and Director of Tennis from 1991-2000 at Fairfield Indoor Tennis. For 7 years during the winter months Mitch was the General Manager at Yonkers Tennis Center. He is fully certified with the U.S.P.T.R. While playing Division I collegiate tennis at Furman University he received a B.A. in Spanish. As a junior he was ranked in the top 15 in the Eastern and New England sections.

Roxy Enica

Originally from Constanta, Romania, Roxy played Division I tennis at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. She played #1 singles and doubles during her 4 years. In her last semester at SFASU Roxy was a Volunteer Assistant Coach helping the team work their way up to becoming ranked #71 in the nation. She graduated with a degree in Hospitality Administration and is currently working on her Master’s degree in International Marketing. Roxy has 20 years of playing experience and 8 years of coaching experience. She has previously taught in her home town of Constanta, Romania, Veyvey Country Club in Veyvey, Switzerland, and is currently teaching at Aspetuck Valley Country Club during the summers. In her spare time Roxy enjoys to travel to new places, meet new people, read, watch movies, and learn new languages.

Boardman Festus

Boardman is a native of Nigeria, West Africa. He attended Hastings Coillege in Nebraska where he played #1 singles and doubles and graduated with a major in physical education. Boardman has been USPTA certified for the past eight years and has been teaching tennis for 20 years in different parts of the country, most recently at the Sports and Wellness Club in Danbury. In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer, ping pong and volleyball.

Rachel Hogan

Originally from Montgomery, Alabama, Rachel played for Auburn University of Montgomery in Alabama. She played both singles and doubles during her 4 years, helping the team to win 3 National Championships. She graduated with a degree in Exercise Science, pre-physical therapy. Rachel held an Alabama state ranking of #2 in the 18’s, during her junior playing years. Rachel has 20 years of playing experience and 8 years of coaching experience. She was previously the Assistant coach for the woman’s team at Huntingdon College and taught at the O’Connor Tennis Center in Montgomery, Alabama. Her hobbies include bike riding, Ultimate Frisbee, and anything outdoors.

Michael McManus

A native of Hamden, Connecticut, Mike played high school tennis at Notre Dame in West Haven where he earned all state honors. At the University of Connecticut, he played singles and doubles while also teaching at Tennis Central in Woodbridge and the Ridge Top Club. After college, he was an instructor at the Waccabuc Country Club in Westchester County where he was mentored by USPTA President Harry Gilbert. During this time, he helped grow the tennis program, producing many juniors with top 50 national rankings in their age groups. He has also coached numerous men's and women's USTA teams to District, Sectional and National wins. For the past two summers Mike has been the Director of Tennis for The Paugesette Club in Orange. A resident of Branford, Connecticut, Mike is passionate about building junior and adult tennis in the New Haven area.

Adam Mirsky

Graduating from The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Adam trained and played at the satellite level of the ATP Tour in Orlando, Florida for three years. He has been teaching in the Woodbridge area for the last 10 years, including the Oak Lane Golf and Country Club and Tennis Central. He has trained some of the top junior players with sectional and national rankings. Adam’s work with the high performance program has produced several division one college tennis players and continues to be regarded as one of the top training programs in the New England area.

Chris Raffone

A native of Hamden, Connecticut, Chris attended Central Connecticut State University where he competed in singles and doubles. He was undefeated at #1 singles and captain in his senior year. Upon graduation, he stayed on as Assistant Coach for two seasons. Chris also coached the Quinnipiac University’s Bobcats helping them win three conference championships. Chris comes to us from Tennis Central where he has worked with many USTA teams coaching them on to district, sectional and national competition. During the high school season, Chris has coached Amity High School where his teams have won several championships. In the summer months Chris is director of tennis operations and head tennis professional at The Woodbridge Club.
