Carrie Bunton
Tennis Professional

A SUNY Cortland attendee and USPTA certified,  Carrie offers 25 years of teaching experience within the Westchester, Fairfield and New Haven counties. Growing up in Stamford, Carrie was a ranked junior in New England and brings expertise to our Junior and Adult programing of all levels. Carrie has competed at the 30+ Grasscourt National tournament and medaled three times with 1 silver and 2 bronze. She has also competed as an adult at the USTA League Nationals at the 4.5 and 5.0 level. She recently coached her 3.0 USTA Women's team, The Spinderellas, to Nationals. A pleasure on and off the court Carrie, a Milford resident, is excited to offer you a great experience here at Milford Indoor Tennis!


Mitch Cravens
Tennis Professional

Mitch brings over 25 years of teaching and management experience at tennis facilities throughout Fairfield County and Westchester County. This included the position as Head Tennis Professional at Fairfield Beach Club for 11 years in the summer months, Head Tennis Professional at Brooklawn Country Club for the last 7 years and Director of Tennis from 1991-2000 at Fairfield Indoor Tennis. For 7 years during the winter months Mitch was the General Manager at Yonkers Tennis Center. He is fully certified with the U.S.P.T.R. While playing Division I collegiate tennis at Furman University he received a B.A. in Spanish. As a junior he was ranked in the top 15 in the Eastern and New England sections.


Glenny Hay
Tennis Professional

Born and raised in San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic. Glenny Hay was a scholarship player for Shorter University. Glenny was an NAIA All-American player, NAIA “Best Athlete to Watch” her freshman year, a 2003 Regional title, and a No. 3 ranking in singles as well as a No. 4 ranking in doubles. She also represented the Dominican Republic at the Pan-American Games, Centro-American Games and was a member of the Dominican Fed-Cup Team. As a Shorter University’s Hall of Fame inductee, Glenny has worked at Fairfield University as the Women and Men Assistant Coach for two seasons in which both teams reached the NCAA Tournament. Glenny currently works at the Fairfield Beach Club and is excited to work with adults and children of all levels.


Frank Lorenzetti
High Performance Coach

Frank has directed some of the most prestigious clubs and programs in Fairfield County for the past 25 years. Most recently Frank was the Tennis Director at the Danbury Sport & Wellness Club and year-round Racquets Director at the Redding Country Club. He has coached hundreds of ranked juniors over the years including many nationally ranked and New England #1 players.

His USTA Junior teams have won 3 state USTA/JTTchampionships and had several 2nd and 3rdplace teams as well over the last few years. Frank currently coaches many top 50 ranked players in the 10u, 12u and 14u divisions including his own 2 boys who are 12 & 8 years old as well as a 5-year-old Red Ball player.

On the adult side, Frank has coached women’s & men’s USTA teams to districts, sectionals, and nationals in all levels from 2.5 to 5.0 teams. Frank & his family have recently moved to Milford and he is currently the Director of Tennis at the Paugusset Tennis & Swim Club in Orange during the summer. He is excited for the opportunity to join the MIT staff and is looking forward to working with many of you both on and off the court.

Dr. Sean Diamond
Pickleball Professional

Dr. Sean Diamond has been involved with nutrition and fitness for over 25 years.  He has been a chiropractor for 19 years with a practice in Monroe, CT.  There he provides chiropractic services, nutrition counselling and acupuncture.  Growing up, Sean played multiple sports, including soccer, basketball, hockey, baseball, racquetball and ping-pong (for 15 years).  Playing these sports made it an easy transition to pickleball which is a combination of tennis, badminton and ping-pong.

Sean and his wife, Dee, live in Milford, CT, where they have been building the pickleball program for the last four years.  They are both pickleball ambassadors for the United States Pickleball Association.  Dr. Diamond has brought his teaching experience, expertise and passion for pickleball to the courts.  At the tournament level he is rated a 4.5.  He has competed at the highest level playing in the open divisions. Sean has received medals in multiple pickleball competitions over the last few years, including the men’s doubles at the Connecticut Masters tournament in 2015.  He is also a contributing writer to Pickleball Magazine where he wrote an article on nutrition and pickleball.  The passion and dedication Dr. Diamond has for growing the sport of pickleball is truly unmistakable.  


Betsy Hulme
Pickleball Professional

A recently retired Physical Education Teacher and Athletic Director. She taught for 43 years at Independent Schools, working with students K - 12
She has coached Middle School and Varsity Teams. She is the Coordinator of Pickleball for Fairfield at the Bigelow Center. She teaches adult Pickleball through the Continuing Ed. Program in Fairfield. She has worked with the Rec. Dept. in Fairfield to establish the four tournament quality outdoor courts. She is a medal winner in tournaments here in CT and out of state. She has offered ‘open’ clinics for the town to introduce the game of Pickleball to families.


Ryan Bean
Director of Development

With over 15 years of experience both on and off the court Ryan's love and passion for tennis is apparent in his work ethic and commitment. Originally from Massachusetts, Ryan spent his collegiate years playing for the Division 1, Quinnipiac Bobcats in Hamden, CT. Shortly after graduating Ryan immersed himself into the Connecticut tennis scene and hasn't looked back. He has both on and off court experience within indoor tennis facilities (Guilford Swim and Racquet/Tennis Club of Trumbull/Trumbull Racquet Club) as well as the country club settings (The High Lane Club/Pine Orchard Yacht and Country Club). On top of coaching at Quinnipiac University, Ryan is USPTA 1 certified and brings a wide knowledge base within the industry.


Bobbi DeAngelis

A mainstay in the Connecticut tennis industry Bobbi brings a wealth of experience as the Southern Connecticut Coordinator of USTA Leagues. Bobbi has progressed from volunteering, playing, captaining and presently coordinating within the USTA since 1998. As a familiar face at the Tennis Club of Trumbull for 6 years, her strong background in administrative and customer services along with her friendly personality played a pivotal role in their success. Bobbi has been a part of the TennisCT family for the past year at Trumbull Racquet Club, but now will be joining us at Milford and we cant wait for you to meet her. (She will be one of the many smiling faces you will see at the front desk!)


Marie Vizzo

Well known in Southern Connecticut for her involvement in the USTA, Marie has coordinated USTA tennis since 2004. Her experience in this field has made her an expert in Adult USTA rules, conduct, and league/tournament scheduling- making her a priceless asset at MIT. In addition to her years working in the tennis world and time spent working in tennis clubs, she also helps manage her husband’s plumbing business. Marie is a lover of the sport and plays competitively on several women’s and mixed doubles USTA teams during the fall and summer seasons. She is proud to say she has raised tennis players who compete with her in mixed doubles!
